eBay Sale!
I've listed some things for auction on eBay again. As you guys knows I'm seasonal at my job, (same job for the past 12 years), and this year we were furloughed the last week of June. My unemployment runs out end of December, and I won't be called back to work until January. Sooo... I've decided to list some things on eBay to make a few bucks.
There's a bunch of hoodies from Ed Hardy, Victoria's Secret, Old Navy, Candies. Lot's of different sizes: Small, Large, and XL. Shoes from Timberland and Easy Spirit. (Sizes: 6M, 7M). Two military cadet caps, and an LL Bean Tote bag.

I've listed some things on eBay! My 1 year old Sony Cybershot W690, Kodak Digital Picture Frame, Enchanted Polish, Coach Purses, Ed Hardy Hoodies, Claire's Tote. (USA Only).
I upgraded my Sony Cybershot, so that's part of the reason I'm selling some things (to pay off the $125 on my credit card). I upgraded to the W-830 So I jumped from 16mp to 20mp. :-) The only thing I'm not thrilled about with the new camera is that the body is all plastic now, no metal. So god forbid I drop this new one, it'll break for sure! :-\
Hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things with blogging soon... I've been a blogging slump and a bit depressed lately. But... I have these awesome polishes that Rimmel sent me, to share with you next week. I hope to try out some stamping with them too, and I will share my results.

Pinterest might be bad for my wallet lol!
Pinterest might prove to be bad for my wallet, lol. I'm having a lot of fun organizing my Home & Kitchen Decor Idea boards. Most of the stuff is a little out of budget for me, but these dishes... omg. I fell in love with them. I love anything black and white, and damask is so elegant! It matches the color scheme of my favorite living room chairs. (Our color scheme seems to be black, white & a pop of bright aqua or teal).
It's my Valentines gift. ♥ I'm sooo excited! I love them! It's a 16 piece set from Target.
I also bought a gorgeous hoodie on Amazon.com. But the price was right. It used to retail for $180.00 because it was Christian Audigier, but that & the Ed Hardy stuff isn't as popular anymore so it was on sale for $29.99! It is GORGEOUS in person and so well made, I love it! ♥
Soooo.... while Pinterest might be great for ideas, recipes, home decor ideas, it can be bad for your wallet! At least all our bills are paid for the month, lol! ;-)

THE best ballet flats EVER!
I've been looking for a pair of plain comfortable ballet flats for 2 years now. I've gotten a few pairs that were very stiff and gave me blisters. I saw these ones featured on The Pioneer Woman's blog and decided to take a chance on them.
They are called The City Flat, by Gap. I first ordered a pair of plain black ones. I do a lot of walking now that I'm commuting on the train to work every day. I didn't get one blister the whole day I wore these. They are very light and flexible, perfect for warmer weather. They are also 100% leather.
The only thing you will need is a pair of very slim gel inserts by Dr. Scholl's, etc. (I have Dr. Scholl's for her); because you will feel the pavement on your heels every step you take. With the gel inserts it gave me better impact support. I loved the shoe so much, I ordered it in pewter too. (Still waiting for it to arrive!) Gap sells the shoe in a bunch of different colors.
I also ordered this plum metallic purse that was on clearance at Gap. Excited for it to arrive!
(Nope, not getting paid to recommend these products! I just wanted to share them, because I love them!)

Purple!
Purple is my favorite color! (Along with Pink, Aqua & Black.)
My glasses are purplish:
My customized Converse have purple in them:
I have a lot of purple clothing:
Purple Jewelry, almost all of it came from the Philippines.
I wore purple on my wedding day. (F.B.'s barong was light purple.)
I had a silky soft purple pashmina in case it got chilly in the evening on our wedding day:
My wonderful in-laws & sister in law who put our wedding together included purple in our wedding decor- even our wedding invitations had purple on them.

$16 Deals!
I am T-shirt, Hoodie, Jeans and Converse kind of girl. So for winter clothing I was happy when Old Navy was having $16 deals during their 16th Anniversary!
I was able to get a really nice quilted jacket for $16 that retailed for $49! (They are now $25.)
Women's Frost Free Jackets
I also got a fuchsia velour hoodie. I got 3 of these a few years back in black, grey and brown and I really love them. They are so soft! And you can't beat $16!
Women's Velour Zip Hoodies
Third was this fleece teal argyle hoodie. I really love it! This is also still $16!
Women's Fleece Zip Hoodies
I'm not sure how long Old Navy's sale will last, but there are a ton of items to choose from that are all only $16! If I had more money I would have gotten some other stuff!
Unrelated from Old Navy. I also was able to get the best cami's ever for $4.99 each (Originally 12.99) from Kohl's. I wear these under all my t-shirts and even hoodies. It has a built in bra which gives great support. It's always hard to find the white one in stock because so many people buy it. I also got a purple one and I own black ones. Great Cami! Love it!

Weekend in the Philippines
This past Saturday we went to Mall of Asia for the afternoon. We saw the movie Planet 51. Which is a CG film. It was a twist on alien invasion- because the human lands on the alien planet and thinks he is the alien. It was pretty cute.
F.B. wanted to get me new Havaianas sandals but the store at Mall of Asia had a really long line just waiting to get into the store. We checked after the movie to see if it would be shorter and it was actually longer! I got a cute purple t-shirt at SM Department store and some new pearl bracelets at Kultura.
We also had Starbucks again… of course, lol! Though I’m trying to behave before the wedding, so whenever we go I order a tall nonfat coffee. I discovered you can also get light blended frappucinos for 100-200 calories instead of 400-500 calories. I had a tall Mocha light blended frapp the other day without whipped cream and it’s just as good as a regular frapp. I decided to try non fat iced Peppermint Mocha when we were at Mall of Asia… (Can’t wait until after the wedding to try it as a frappucino!)
Since Mall of Asia was really crowded on Saturday we went to Robinson’s Galleria for dinner. We tried The Old Spaghetti House. I got a dish with salmon and rice, but it wasn’t the best meal I’ve ever had. Kinda bland and the cut of salmon wasn't very good. I think I ate more of our appetizer, calamari.
They had a sign on the table with ads of their newest dishes and I thought this was kind of odd... I like peanut butter and banana sandwiches… but peanut butter, banana and BACON?!?! I dunno!
We saw this funny sign down in the parking garage. From our angle it looked like it said; “leave valuables inside your vehicle.” The “please do not” was covered. Hehe!
Sunday morning we were surprised to find F.B.’s Christmas gift had been delivered. We had it scheduled to be delivered Monday, but it came early. I got him a new cell phone. It was a belated Birthday/Christmas gift. (I had ordered him a phone for his birthday but with the flood, I had to cancel the order during the clean up.) Here’s his new shiny Nokia 2630, I ordered from Filgifts.com. It even came with headphones and has a radio built into it!
We went to Ayala for the day to Glorietta Mall. We got to check out Glorietta 5 one of the new areas. Just went to National Bookstore while in there to get a magazine and playing cards. I taught F.B. to play the game ‘war’. Hehe.
We went to ‘All Flip Flops’ to get my new Havaianas sandals. I really like them; they are super shiny, haha! They were my Christmas gift from F.B.
Starbucks at Glorietta Mall and me with my light blended mocha frapp! (No whip!) F.B. got a Coffee Jelly frappucino but it wasn't so good.
We headed back to Robinson’s Mall near F.B.’s house so we could stop at the grocery. Then we went to Sta. Lucia mall for dinner. We went to Yoshinoya which is like a Tokyo Tokyo. I had a rice bowl with chicken teriyaki and vegetables. F.B. had a beef and rice bowl. We also had these dumplings with crab called, Kani Shu-mai.
After dinner we were heading back downstairs when the Guess store distracted me. I saw this really cute pink t-shirt with butterflies that wasn’t even in the window so we went to check it out… P990 though! (Almost $20). I think that’s the most I’ve paid for a t-shirt, lol. I usually get mine on clearance in the USA. But it was too cute to pass up.
F.B. and I browsed the “Louis Vuitton” bags after the Guess store. He haggled the bag I wanted down to P900, which is a bit more than we paid for my last bag but they originally wanted P1200. ($24). I love it, it’s really big inside. I told F.B. he will have to take me to all the “rich” places now with my “Louis Vuitton” bag, my Guess t-shirt and Havaianas sandals, hehehe!
The weather hasn’t been too bad here. It hasn’t rained yet and it’s been very cold at night to me. F.B. laughs at me because he lives here year round and I’m the one cold at night in the Philippines. I’m also the one the heat doesn’t bother so much.
Next Monday we get to pick up our marriage license at the Cainta municipal hall and we may be going to the Manila Hotel this coming Saturday to confirm our reservations for the wedding dinner on 12/19!

Shopping & Parties!
Today I had to go out to run errands for trip items. I had $160 advance cash from my Citibank credit card to get stuff with. (I'm not working right now, sad... I'm on unemployment.) Anyhow, I went to the $1 Tree, Wal-mart & Ross. I got a ton of little items for the trip, batteries, sleeping pills, mini travel toothbrush (with the toothpaste already on it! I got a pack of 4 for $1.49.), tissues, razors, lint roller, face powder, quart size baggies, pepto, vitamin c, a new hair brush, wet wipes, etc. I got more than that because I also picked up some Christmas gifts, Birthday gifts, a card and gift bag for my cousin's wedding on Saturday. And household items, paper towels, etc.
My favorite store of the day was Ross. I always find good deals there. Especially on luggage. A month ago or so I picked up a medium suitcase at Ross from American Flyer for $34.00 (Retailed $70!) It was extremely light weight for a roll away suitcase. After lugging my large purple suitcase out of the closet last week, I decided I was going back to Ross and get one of the newer light weight suitcases. Most of the new luggage is being made lighter now because the airline's luggage rules have changed.
What color luggage do you use when you travel? I always try to get bold patterns or bright colors because it makes finding your luggage easier at the airport. I also always tie a bright colored ribbon onto my suitcases besides luggage tags to help identify mine more quickly! You can't imagine how many people have plain black luggage- my 1st suitcase was black & it makes it really hard to spot in baggage claim!
I found a nice large mauve suitcase at Ross for $54.00 from designer Oleg Cassini that retailed for $140.00 before! Can't beat that! I also got a pair of boot cut Levi's for $14, a cute Bongo tote bag with zipper for $8. And some panties for about $1-2 each. The hoodie, that was a bit of a splurge. It was $19, from BCBG (Retailed $52!) But I like the color of it, with the little rhinestone embellishments on the pockets & the foil logo on the back.
(Shhh... I'll pretend you guys didn't just see my underwear... lol!)
October 30th, was my cousin Chrissy's surprise bachelorette party. Most everyone had a halloween costume on. (Well, I wore my skull hoodie, haha!) There is a slideshow below with pictures from the party.
