I have the new Zoya Ulta PixieDusts for you today. Oswin, Noir, and Arianna.
So... how are the Ultra Pixiedusts, different from the regular, and magical PixieDusts? The original Pixiedusts have a finer texture more like sand. Magical has bigger glitter, and added holographic glitters. The Ultra PixieDusts have larger chunkier glitters, but not holographic. They are all very similar looking in the bottle, due to the red glitter that is in each polish, but they are very different once on the nail.

Oswin: Is my favorite of the bunch. It's a bright fiery red. And if you add topcoat, the glitters just seem to glow. Two coats. Also, Oswin dries with a more matte sandy finish than the other two. I think the base in Noir & Arianna is more jelly based, then it is in Oswin.

Here's a comparison of Zoya Oswin, and the original PixieDust, Chyna. They are similar in color, but very different texture wise.
Noir: I have to say I was a little disappointed by Noir. When I saw the press release I thought this purple color would be my favorite, but it's very different in real life. Noir has a plum colored base, and it's full of red glitters. I think the red glitter is what throws this polish off. Maybe if it had purple glitter instead I would like it better- the red glitter just seems to distract. I do like this color much better with topcoat though, the topcoat adds some depth. Two coats.

Arianna: a wine berry red color that's a shade or two darker from Oswin. Two coats. Arianna is my 2nd favorite of this trio.

What do you think of the Ultra PixieDusts?
For best results: Prep nail with Zoya Remove Nail Polish Remover and Prep. Apply 1-3 (for full coverage) thin coats of Zoya PixieDust polish. Allow product to dry completely between each coat for full effect. If polish base does not dry down to a matte finish this may be due to not enough wait time between coats or because the color was not applied to a perfectly clean surface that is free of base coat (note: some basecoats may prevent the color from drying properly).
